Ratatouille

Pixar have been churning out films left right and centre and for a while they were all very good. Not much in the way of a plot line, but since we hadn't seen this kind of thing before we were taken by the look of it.

Now that we are used to it, the plot line become more important. Pixar's last venture, Cars, was a bit of a miss.

This time they seemed to get it right. Ratatouille is intelligent, funny and nicely put together.

Thats not to say it doesn't have some faults. It is very annoying to think all the rats in Paris might well be american for example!

The story find Remy the rat with an amazing sense of smell get separated from his family and end up at his hero's restaurant. From there he developes a slightly bizarre friendship with a mop and bucket boy in the restaurant and takes on Cyrano De Bergerac to create a master chef.

This is a great one for anyone who is a fan of Tom and Jerry!

3.5/5
